Tim started teaching at Hillcrest in 2010. He loves unpacking the Scriptures in ways that make the story come alive and connect with real stuff of life. If he could wave a magic wand to take away all the misconceptions of Jesus and let people see him in all his fierce wonder, he would. Tim studied Biblical Literature at Taylor University. He had the opportunity to study for several semesters at Jerusalem University College. He received a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Regent College. He loves backcountry skiing, playing and coaching soccer, and a good book. With the rest of his time he and his wife Kristi are raising four creative and energetic daughters.
